A little reading to begin with

A SAMPLE FROM CHAPTER ONE

Look for work where you can assess the answer: outlining a familiar report, reorganising public notes, or drafting a routine message. Avoid starting with a decision requiring specialist knowledge or data you cannot lawfully share. Ask your organisation which services and tasks are approved.

Write what the reader needs and what counts as done. An email may need a clear request and response date; a report outline may need evidence headings. Separate composing from sending, and summarising from approving. A draft does not authorise an external action.

Record the current manual effort before the trial. Include preparation, checking, and correction when comparing the AI workflow. A response arriving quickly is not proof of productivity if you spend longer repairing it. Choose one bounded task so you can observe the full cost rather than accumulating tools without evidence.
